Children who are passively infected with HIV are one of the object groups that need attention and care from society. In that spirit, to help these children enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival like other children, in addition to donating cash of 700,000 VND/child, Company and Trade Union of CSVC gave 33 gifts including candy, milk, lanterns, and moon cakes to 33 HIV-infected pediatric treating outpatients at Ba Ria Hospital, with a total value of about 33 million VND. This meaningful activity is held on September 13, 2023, as a link that brings these children closer to the community and the loving embrace of society.

In the vision of building a powerful and sharing social community, China Steel & Nippon Steel Vietnam JSC and CSVC Trade Union partnered with the HCYU Chapter of BRVT Radio & Television and Tan Lam commune, Xuyen Moc province to organize the program “Motivate children to go to school 2023”. The program supports 10 scholarships and 100 gift sets with a budget of up to VND 60 million and aims to enable underprivileged students to improve their chances of going to school.

On July 15, 2023, China Steel and Nippon Steel Vietnam Joint Stock Company (CSVC) and CSVC Trade Union cooperated with Ba Ria Hospital to organize a program of medical examination, health consultation, free medicine distribution and gift giving to 400 policy beneficiaries who are Vietnamese heroic mothers, relatives, families of martyrs, wounded soldiers and policy families in Chau Duc District with a budget of 50,000,000 VND on the 76th Anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day Jul 27 (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2023). This activity does not only contribute to improving the health of those with meritorious services to the revolution and the families of war invalids and martyrs, but also demonstrates the spirit of social responsibility and sharing of China Steel and Nippon Steel Vietnam Joint Stock Company with the community.
